ONE MAN AND HIS DESTINY; A LESSON FROM ABRAHAM

A new week begins and i am wondering what you are saying to yourself.....I got this in a sermon, something from ABRAHAM; the man in the Bible and i really wanted to share some of the things that has helped me and still does. When we discover what is really imporatnt in this life, it will help us become better. The world is full of people who are lost and empty, looking for direction, hope......to move on. I hope this makes that difference.

TEXT; Genesis 13:14-18

DESTINY IS FUFILLED ALONE;
When Abraham was leaving his Father's house he took Lot but it was time for his life to change, he seperated from Lot. It was after Lot left him that God Spoke direction into his life. You cannot run another man's race, you can only run your own.
There are people in our lives that will not allow us move forward, achieve more  and until we seperate we will be stuck in the same life. Check your life! There are things and people, however harmless they may seem, they will not let you move forward until you seperate from them.
You don't have to be as old as Abraham to learn your lessons or seperate from these things. How sure are you that you will live that long? Abraham wanted change and was eagerto obey. How about you?

LOOK FROM WHERE YOU ARE;
You don't have to always go to the top of one mountain or somewhere else to look further in life. You can still dream from where you are and see a bright tommorow for yourself. Your background, race and nationality does not have to a barrier. It does not matter where you are standing right now, just decide. Today, you can begin seeing things differently, seeing better for your tomorrow just as God Told Abraham to lift up his eyes from where he is.
Lift up your eyes and see a bright future for yourself.

AS FAR AS YOUR EYES CAN SEE:
How far can you see now that you are looking from where you are? Don't be short sighted,don't let your eyesight limit who you are and where you are headed in life. What you cannot see,you will not even dare to dream....when you look into future, what are you seeing for yourself? are you seeing a failure or someone with no future? Look today... and dream big dreams becuase  your dream can still come true right where you are.

As old as Abraham was, he still found his redemption. He found enduring legacy and lived a fufilled life;that change was effected the very moment he seperated from Lot.... you cannot afford to give up on yourself now! You can still fufill your destiny. It is a personal choice and destiny, as fufilment in life is always about choice. Take a cue from Abraham today and Live your best life beginning from Now!
