ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVICH HEADS TO PSG

 PSG have confirms they they have signed Zlatan Ibrahimovich from AC MILAN....

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to sign for French side Paris Saint-Germain, according to the club's sporting director, Leonardo.

The 30-year-old is due to be unveiled at the club on Wednesday, providing he passes a medical.
"I confirm that we have reached an agreement with Ibrahimovic," Leonardo said on Tuesday.
"The player will undergo the medical check-ups tomorrow."
Ibrahimovic scored 33 times in 40 matches for AC Milan last season.
He also scored twice in three games for Sweden at Euro 2012.
PSG have also signed Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi this summer.....
Perhaps, Dimitar Berbatov  could be a good replacement for Ibra, just not sure who will fit into Silva's shoes at AC Milan.

Days back it was Kim K and her indecent exposure, now...it is Lady Gaga.... Celebrities just cannot resist the temptation to go naked.....sex sells....i don't blame them!
Lady Gaga tweeted the ad for her Fame fragrance yesterday, which features tiny men scaling her nude body as she wears nothing more than a mask and the sleek perfume bottle. The photograph, shot by fashion photographer Steven Klein, is accompanied by the tagline ”The First Ever Black Eau de Parfum.”
”i won’t lie I’m a bit nervous. its been a while since i’ve shared some work with you. But i’m so proud of Steven+I, we really did not sleep!” she tweeted before revealing the black-and-white image.
Gaga also worked with Klein in 2010 for her “Alejandro” music video.
Gaga once said that the perfume would smell ”like an expensive hooker.”
”[Blood and semen] is in the perfume but it doesn’t smell like it. You just get sort of the after feeling of sex from the semen and the blood is sort of primal. And the blood was taken from my own blood sample so it’s like a sense of having me on your skin,” she said.

MAKOKO.....SAD STORY OF ANOTHER DEMOLITION

EKO MEGA CITY......LAGOS State government, on Monday, commenced the demolition of the large Makoko waterfront slum. Incase you are wondering where Makoko is.....
 When you have seen The Famous third mainland bridge, you have seen the settlement, which i hear is about 107 years old.

A letter was served on residents last week, giving them 72 hours to vacate their properties.
Several told the BBC they did not know where they and their families would sleep.
 Men  were seen using machetes to chop down the stilts of the wooden homes, while police watched from nearby boats.(TYPICAL OF NIGERIA!)
The letter from the Lagos state authorities says the illegal constructions constituted an "environmental nuisance, security risk and an impediment to the economic and gainful utilisation of the waterfront" and undermined the "megacity status" of Lagos.
The exact number of people that will be affected by the exercise is yet to acsertained but it is clear that  no fewer than 30,000 people lived in the targeted slum.

The Makoko community which is divided between land-based and waterfront areas, will have only the inland residents  affected by the demolitions.There have been denials of complaints in some quarters that the government had not duly notified the affected residents, the community leader, Mr Ray-mond Adekunle Akonse-moyin, said “the government has repeatedly given enough notice to those occupying these illegal structures to leave. But this has been to no avail.”
 It is another sad story and what this means is Lagos and Neighbouring states will be flooded with homeless Nigerians..... is Governor Fashola actually doing the right thing? Is the man trying to be more logical than emotional??? Lagos is a city that draws people from different walks of life and i don't see these people heading any where!

VICTORIA BECKHAM: DOES POSH SPICE REALLY EATS?

Victoria Beckham has a super model figure but at her age.....i am wondering if she actually eats! She is way too skinny! She is already a fashion icon, she is a pretty woman and she has nothing to prove but being this skinny is just outrageous!

When i see models.....they really don't appeal to me, i still don't understand why girls try so hard to be skinny and even women! Having some flesh won't hurt and being so carved out all the time just does not look like fun! Fashion comes with comfort and i guess she likes herself this way and she has milllions of fans!

JOS HIT AGAIN.... EXPLOSION AT BUKURU

An Islamic school in the Bukuru area of Jos in Plateau State was hit by a bomb a few minutes ago.

The Plateau state governor’s spokesman, Pam Ayuba who confirmed the incident said “there was an explosion this morning  in the Bukuru area of Jos South. The bomb was intended to blow up the secretariat of Jos South local government”

 A 10-year-old boy has died after a rocket was fired at a school in the Nigerian city of Jos but missed and hit a nearby building, officials say.

The school authorities say the boy was not a pupil at the large co-educational institution owned by the city's Muslim community.
The casualty figure has not been confirmed, but a military spokesman and residents said one young person died in the attack.
A resident, Murtala Abdullahi said an attacker fired a heavy weapon at a building from a main avenue, and that it appeared a Muslim school in the Bukuru area, across the street from the government building, was the target.
Military spokesman, Salihu Mustapha, who also confirmed the attack, said “someone opened fire on some innocents… one of the bullets hit a child.”

Tension...and panic! You think it will cool down but it gets even worse.

KATIE HOLMES & SURI UNHURT AFTER CRASH

Do you smell scientology karma??. Let's resist the temptation to jump the gun...it was nothing major.

Katie Holmes and  Suri Cruise were leaving Chelsea Piers (where Suri had been having gymnastics class) Monday night when their Mercedes got sideswiped by a garbage truck, resulting in denting the ridebut no one was hurt.
The scrape-up happened about 9:30 p.m. on W. 33rd St., between Seventh and Eighth Aves., police said. Holmes and Suri were passengers, and their driver was the only other person inside the ’Benz, a police source said.
“It was nothing major other than the fact that it was Katie Holmes,” the source said.

This will make Holmes think again about  her new team of handlers. The actress ditched her previous security team in an effort to sever any ties to Tom Cruise as she filed for divorce. It was an extremely public parting that was reportedly motivated in part by Holmes’ fears that Suri would get sucked into Cruise’s Scientology faith.

Holmes, 33, filed for divorce in Manhattan on June 28 in a surprise move that left Cruise, in the words of his mouthpiece, “deeply saddened.” She won primary physical custody in a speedy settlement reached just 11 days later.

 The paramount ruler of the Igala Kingdom, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Alhaji Aliyu Ocheja Obaje id dead.
 He was aged 102, the Attah Igala's death was announced by the State government on Monday in Lokoja.
Born in 1920, Dr. Aliyu Obaje was the youngest person ever to be installed as Attah Igala. He mounted the stool at the age of 36.
HRM Aliyu Obaje ascended the throne on the October 20, 1956 following the death of his predecessor, HRM Ameh Oboni.
He was one of the longest serving monarchs in Nigeria.
HRM Aliyu Obaje was the chairman of the Kogi State council of Traditional chiefs.
Having served as the Attah Igala for fifty years.
He held the Nigerian national honour of GCFR (Grand Commander of the Federal Republic).

BAUCHI: 6,000 AIDES IN ONE STATE ALONE?

Before you read the news below: I really find this very typical of NIGERIA....i don't know anywhere else where a single state will have up to 6,000 political aides? How exactly thier portfolio does helps in the development of the state? it leaves you wondering.....ONLY IN NIGERIA!    Even though the Government has sacked them, there are still going to be fresh appointments...it is a cycle. God help this country.... with the wrong mindset, everything else goes wrong. That is Bauchi alone, how about other states? 

The Bauchi State governor, Isa Yuguda, has sacked over 6,000 political appointees in the state.

A press statement signed by the Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, Ahmed Ibrahim Dandij has said.
The statement reads: “following complaints by stakeholders that the majority of political appointments made by the state government are not only lopsided but don’t reflect the structure of the ruling party at state, local government and ward levels, Governor Isa Yuguda has approved a review of these appointments with immediate effect in order to pave way for the review.
“Director Generals, Senior Special Assistants, Senior Special Assistant II, Special Assistant and special assistant II are hereby disengaged with immediate effect.”
The statement however, said the appointees whose services are essential are not affected by the disengagement. They include those on essential services and political appointees attached to the governor and his deputy.
It said “fresh political appointments would be made shortly when the review is concluded”.
