THE MANY FACES OF NIGERIA....

South Africa is dealing with the infamous rape story and as shameful as it is, the Nigeria Fuel subsidy scam, the Police pension scam are worse. The headlines continually expose the show of shame in Nigeria. You just think you have seen the worst, then something worse comes out.

Recently Madam World Bank, Okonjo-Iweala said on world stage how Nigeria will need World Bank support for data on Poor Nigerians....very embarrasing! Is she telling us that she has no idea Being a Finance Minister? Must our lives, policies be dtermined by the World Bank? The same place she ran for President and she was defeated? Nigeria...a country oif many faces, faces of people who are slowly running us down in a guise of helping us with so many complicated policies and grammer. Everything is just twisted in processes that the common man cannot understand.....The language people understand is progress! Change we can see, change we can believe in.

While things happen around the world that inspires and shapes the lives of her citizens, Nigeria is plagued by backward leadership, People who are confused....people who cannot understand and restore human dignity. People are suffering, hustling tirelessly to make ends meet and expect the Government to make it better, yet we are plagued with people whoi cannot even motivate themselves for change, how much more millions of Nigerians who need something to believe in.

The daily revelations of the Fuel subsidy and Police Pension scam is just a show of shame. You are tempetd to think which is worse, The Babangida era or this? The sacking of Akintola Williams and co is just a charade, a case of blaming the pen you used to write your own mess...it is still your hand, nonetheless! Goodluck Jonathan shuold stop decieving NIgerians, We are not fools. The amount involved is just stagerring and if it was utilised, it would have been anough to make our lives better as Nigerians.
If the Fuel subsidy scam figure was shard amongst Nigerians, it would have cahnged the lives of poor Nigerians....there are people in this country who  earns as low as N10,000 and they have family to feed. They have children with dreams.....
Nigerians are learning the hard way never to succumb to sentiments...especially for the type of people who tell us they once "never had shoes" but they quickly forget where they come from, once they have a hold of power. In the Fuel Subsidy scam, the Federal Government is the greatest culprit and  someone said ,a look at the figure is approximatley what South Africans used to Host the World Cup in 2010....whether we argue that or not, is not important....you can do the maths yourself. The Federal Governemnet informed us of its inability to continue to pump endless amount of money into Petroleum subsidy...that it was huge, endless and unsustainable..... All these and more, just to derail a whole country! Don't you just wonder?

Where exactly is Goodluck Jonathan leading Nigeria? How can he fight corruption with dirty hands? In Nigeria, you don't bite the hand that feeds you....Goodluck Jonathan...will never do that even at the expense of millions of Nigerians, who shuold perish while his god fathers remain.
Bishop Oladunjoye has said Goodluck Jonathan is a weak man but i beg to disagree...he is not weak as he looks, he just assumes that posture to buy our sentiments...becuase he knows that sentiments works really well araound here. How can Good luck Jonathan Fight a corruption from which he is benefitting?
He has a record of creating 370,000 jobs in one speech...how admirable! That is all we get...speech, commitees and more...no results. The whole thing is huge, complicated and just muddled up in controversy. There is no guaranty that the Fuel subsidy scam report will be implicated because the forces at the top will supress it.
If James Ibori was in Nigeria, he may have benefitted from it.This is Nigeria, where an exconvict can rule millions of people without any shame...Don't we remember Senate Omisore who came from Prison to become a senator?
Instead of the law makers to enforce the law, One of them Opeyemi Bamidele is calling on God to "Punish" the corrupt nigerians.....how about him? are his hands clean? We know how to call God but we don't know how to show love to our next door neighbour.
To want improved electricity, better education, good roads...basic ammenties; is that too much to ask? What is wrong with us having Good Governance in Nigeria? People waste precious time and energy discussing the incompetence of our leaders...it can be annoying!

In our everyday lives....it reflects the kind of people we have become. People have no regard for thier negighbours, we have become selfish and all we do is gather. Nobody is out to be a hero, we just want food on our table...It what has become of a great nation.....Corruption looms in every sector and sincerely, i don't even know what news to believe. Anytime, i hear something from the Government, i just feel a sense of doubt in my mind because, i just know it could be another ponze scheme.  You kook around, there is nothing inspiring, you just have to motivate yourself to survive.

Nigeria can be better.....and we want better.

KIM & KANYE (KIMYE) ENJOYING THE ATTENTION

For those who don't already know, Kim K and Kanye West are all over the place. The two and thier temperant make for a good couple....not for marriage maybe but for a relationship? oh Yes! They both love themselves than anyone else and like to be in charge. They are enjoying the attention and they want it to stay that way. They want us to follow them, it is a way to keep them hot! It is why they won't accept or deny they are dating...... They know people are curious to know what goes on in thier closet and are using that to stay in your face.....But they way things are going, people are beginning to care less and less.... She may as well date anybody, we will not be suprised.
We already know, she cannot do without the media.  The famous "KW" earings are part of the stunts! Kim K will soon fade off and am wondering what she is going to do, when she no longer has any media antics to pull.....no stunts to make the camera follow her. People fade, it is only a matter of time. Especially if you can't get over yourself. It is not always about you.

WOULD YOU BUY FOR $6,195 (approx. N950,000)

If love heels, then you would love these but would buy this pair for $6,195? They are the leather Lace-up wedges from Alexander McQueen but really do ypu think its really worth it?... the amount in Nigerian Naira is jaw dropping....i am sure the lower version will soon start appearing in Lagos Markets, it can happen here in Nigeria..trust me.

FUNNY MAN, MARTIN LAWRENCE JOINS THE DIVORCE CLUB

In Hollywood...Expect anything.....especially relationship-wise; Every relationship is prone to face the divorce test. Many are never able to reconcile thier differences. As easy as divorce looks, its not always the right decision to make, Ask Demi Moore, i bet she would have been better off staying with Bruce Willis.

"Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce," a rep for the Big Momma's House star, 47, tells PEOPLE. "The couple has made the joint decision to part ways." Martin and Shamicka had been together for 15 years before sealing it in 2010 at their home in Beverly Hills.

"Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together," the couple said in a joint statement released to PEOPLE by his rep.

BUKOLA SARAKI.....THIS IS NIGERIA!

Where ever Senator Bukola Saraki is right now.....i am not sure he is thinking about what the rest of the world thinks about him. If he is truely thinking about that, he would have responded to the request of the Nigerian Police to assist in the investigations. This is Nigeria and it is why it easy for a former Governor of Kwara State and a Senator of the Federal Repulic of Nigeria to shun the Nigeria Police invitation.
Senator Bukola Saraki yesterday shunned the invitation of the Special Fraud Unit of the Nigerian Police over the controversial N7.5bn loan write-off granted to some of his companies by the former management of Intercontinental Bank Plc. Saraki was expected to report yesterday, but sources within the force said he had sent in a letter asking for more time to enable him attend the funeral of a close relative.
It is a shame and very embarassing that someone of that standing will set such an example. The Senator has gone quiet on his twitter handle (@bukolasaraki). This was the last thing he said 25/04/2012.
"I have respect for rule of law and all its organs within our democratic setting. However we must decry use of same organs to oppress and malign our constitutional rights".

When a Senator is not eager to help the police with investigations...who then should?  The police says he has a case to answer, why exactly, is it proving all too difficult? We assume he has nothing to hide...and we hope the Senator will have respect for the Law. Nobody is supposed to be a bove the law but this is Nigeria....it is not a new thing. Despite all the talk on twitter, he is yet to respond. It is not his fault...!
